The breed standard calls for a “Gay, happy, lively
little dog with a temperament that is friendly and outgoing”.
There are no impersonators or sissies’ living at Arjanan and each and every bichon
has its own personality and character
which includes
naughtiness and loving natures!
Home is in rural Hertfordshire just a few
miles from the Dunstable Downs
and ten miles from the Abbey and Cathedral City of St. Albans.

The village of Markyate where we all
live is renowned for its “Wicked Lady”, Lady Katherine Ferrers (Born in
1634).
Through
boredom she became a highwaywoman in her “spare time” and astride her
horse would hold up the
stagecoaches using
the main London road. She was eventually shot and fatally wounded but
today’s locals say that
she still haunts her home,
Cell Park, and the main London Road through
Markyate…....
I myself have yet to come across her!
So on to the pages and thank you for
visiting
